Meditating on LoTi Framework and E-learning Tools
Educators need to be aware that the digital
era is part of their daily jobs, and how often they use technology is relevant
nowadays. There is LoTi, a framework instrument, that helps to measure how
often educators are implementing e-learning in the classroom. Out there in the
internet ocean are different tools educators can use to teach to improve and
make lessons more enjoyable. Many teachers enjoy using PowerPoint presentations
and World presentations very often, there is a great tool named SlideShare that
teachers can use to embed presentations and also share it with others. Another
tool that is useful in the classroom to produce photo editing is Fotor. This
tool helps educators and students to create collages that can be used in
different presentations. Since technology is very important these days,
teachers need to work on more implementation in the classroom.
Since the LoTi framework is an excellent framework,
teachers can take it as a point of reference concerning technology
implementation in the classroom. It is important primarily to take a look of
the scale to see where we at, then start from there to see what can be
implemented to improve e-learning in our classroom. Step one, the teacher needs
to find their position on the scale. Step two, they need to see how it is possible
to learn and implement internet tools to improve. Educators need to learn and
practice how to manipulate different tools that can be implemented day by day.
Second, show learners how to operate them.
Teachers need to apply various tools in meaningful activities to help
learners engaged and motivated as they need. In order words, teachers need to
take steps to implement more and more technology and be aware of the great
importance of digital application in the classroom.
Another great tool is “Fotor,” it is a photo editor that
can be used by teachers and learners to create a collage that can be used in
different ways during the learning process. This app can assist instructors in
creating visual presentations and even using with learners to develop written
and oral skills, also arrange pictures in a listening exercise. Students can be
taught how to use it, and they can create presentations by producing a collage
using their creativity. It is a free fun tool that students can use with online
pictures or their pictures, also include different templates.
The HTML is a feature on Blogger that is useful because
users can embed materials, assessments, videos and more. A link or code is
produced and transferred to HTML in blogger to add and link with necessary or
specific information or, something that we need to share. It is a fast way to post different types of
material easily. By using this feature add information to blogger is very easy
and viewers can enjoy different materials presented, and users have a more
natural way to post things in blogger.
It is essential for teachers to reflect on how much
technology is used in the classroom with the new digital generations. The LoTi
is an excellent framework for educators to meditate on and realize that now
e-learning is necessary because it goes according to globalization and the new
way of learning. We as teachers need to research and practice many different
tools that can help students learning process a success. It is the only way to
improve on the LoTi scale and make the learning process more enjoyable and
meaningful for learners.

Yesika, if you come to think of how much you have learned these past weeks, you may be surprised how much that is. I am sure that with all these piece of technology in the classroom, you can create a nicer environment to potentiate learning and language acquisition.
